Responsibilities:

Design network architecture (LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud networks) based on business needs
Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime
Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and hardware/software issues
Implement security measures (firewalls, encryption, access controls)
Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching
Document network configurations and procedures
Support users and collaborate with IT teams on network-related issues
Plan capacity and scalability for future growth
Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards

Skills Required :

Network security skills (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS), Good documentation and communication skills, Wireless networking (WLAN configuration and optimization), Configuration of routers and switches (e.g., Cisco, Juniper Networks)
